I. The skinny on fame.

   A. Everyone is tempted to pursue fame.

   B. Fame is more achievable today than it was before.

   C. Fame isn’t sinful, but pursuing fame is dangerous.

II. The solution to fame.

   A. John the Baptist’s mindset: Point to Jesus. (John 3:30)

   B. Paul the Apostle’s ministry: Represent Jesus well.

       (2 Corinthians 5:20)

   C. Two Diagnostic Questions:

       1. Who are you representing?

       2. Whose approval are you seeking? (1 Thessalonians 2:4)

Our desire is to make Jesus famous. Our faith in Him ties us to His fame.
